'80% of the oil being burned to make the planet uninhabitable.... who the HELL is going to be around to burn the REST of it?????'
Ok Ian so we've now been burning fossil fuels for a couple of centuries now... and the changes to the world have been.....? From all the research I can find, the world sees no more storms year on year than it ever has, and that the flooding in the UK is no more than we had pre 1960's as it runs in cycles just like everything. Not got time to look into any others.
We have, I expect, burnt billions of barrels of oil, god knows what that equates to in Co2 and god only knows how much that has affected our atmosphere, although people like you are so quick to tell us that it's us doing it! Is there evidence that the sea will not absorb our increasing co2 output?? As a quick calculation, it appears the UK's inhabitants breath out 30 billion kilos of Co2 every year... why does the government not stop paying all these little oiks from breeding then if co2 is such a problem!
