Davy, of course in a better world all competitors could take part in the TT with no fatality's, that would be the best of both worlds. But unfortunately the competitors are faced with two options, race but knowing that each year there is an odds on chance that someone will crash and be gravely injured, or give up and not take the risk. The riders vote with their feet and no one is forcing them.

I still watch Indy racing even after I witnessed live what happened to Greg Moore and I still race karts after seeing the tragic accident at Buckmore park a couple of years ago. Yes death plays a larger part in the TT, but you cannot get away from it even in Karting. It won't stop me Karting and it won't stop me watching the TT.
