Thanks for making my point FOR me!
I'll re-iterate it JUST for you:
1) Morons hear something: it's beyond them to understand it so they MIS-quote it.
Example:-
" .....who regularly bombard us with complete cr*p on TV driving 5 miles a week less will SAVE THE WORLD"
Oh REALLY????????????????????
They claim it will SAVE THE WORLD....... do they???????
Perhaps you'll do us all the favour of L*I*S*T*E*N*I*N*G to the advert MORE CLOSELY!
AT NO POINT DOES IT SAY 'Save the world'. What it ACTUALLY says is as follows:-
"BUT TOGETHER WE CAN BEGIN TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY DRIVING 5 MILES LESS A WEEK"
You clearly have trouble LISTENING so READ it as well in the WEB SITE:-
http://actonco2.direct.gov.uk/actonco2/home/campaigns/drive-5-miles-less-a-week.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=driving+5+miles&utm_campaign=DFT_SEARCH_5MILESLESS
Now..... once you have A*P*O*L*O*G*I*S*E*D for misquoting, then perhaps you'll tell why what they really DO suggest IS wrong! REmember, you are trying to explain why it would NOT 'begin to make a difference'..... you'll note the word 'BEGIN' is not QUITE the same as 'save'.....
I'll stand by for the waffle and the drivel.... I'll reply once you HAVE apologised!
