My 12 year old daughter is interested in doing some karting. She has done some arrive and drive sessions but for the time you get it's expensive. We have looked into schools karting and she isn't old enough and will have to wait until this time next year to register. One idea I have had is to get a 4 stroke kart and take it out at Thruxton kart circuit which is very close to us, trouble is she is tall for her age, nearly as tall as me and I'm 5ft 9" so a cadet kart is out and a twin engine pro kart might be a bit too much to begin with.
Is there anything about I could look for other then an ex rental kart ? A Subaru kart has been mentioned but they look as expensive as something like junior TKM. Thanks in advance if anyone has any suggestions.
