It's a hard problem to solve and yes the msa maybe increasing the weight to try and slow up the Hondas. Which I don't agree with, But I know two drivers both 10 who r both right up the front at most tracks. one is tiny and still needs to carry 23kg the other is very tall and only carrying 2kg of weight. The tall boy is to young to move up and possibly next year will start the year well and be able to compete at the front. but by mid season the taller boy could be well over the weight limit and struggle to compete. It's a massive step from cadets to minimax or juniors and the drivers need to be both mature enough to move up and strong enough to handle the larger and more powerful karts at junior level.
