as has been said , you will continue to get creamed down the straights as you are not at peak revs, it is not your speed on the straight costing you, it is your slow speed due to weight coming out of the corners, so you need to adjust your gearing so your engine is just over peak power (usually around 6000)as you hit the brakes at the end of the straight, so yes maybe a 70+ sprocket or maybe trying a 19 clutch which has a ratio of adding approx 3.4 teeth on the rear. try to use all lightweight fasteners, cut all excess off bolts,bumper fixings, remove all washers, cut down plastics, to bare minimum allowed , run without mychron ,presume you have 1 centre tank? basically everything possible you can see you do not need get rid of on race day,
