Im inclined to agree with you.....we have been karting on a shoestring budget for 3 years and we spend all the money on bum time and driver coaching, for me going full honda cadet was to stop all the guess work regarding our engine versus everyone elses at rye, the SP engine i have just bought is a huge performance increase based on the two dyno plots i have.....in the past year the T2 engine performance has jumped massivley..... around a track like rye i have found its worth in the region of 0.5 to 1 sec per lap.....agreed the lad who won the last rye clubman race was legit and very experienced, assuming your his dad i think we spoke under the pylon after the race.....based on the power number you told me comparing your engine max power to mine, yours has 5% more power and is a very strong clubman motor, but like you said has loads of hours on it, no prob there!.......believe me, rye is the centre of monster clubman engines bought for 2k by pot hunters
