To be fair the first few posts we gave were sensible advice about what he needs, as I said in my original posts if you want to go out there and have fun you can do it cheaply, but them it can get very expensive if you want better kit/ sp engines etc. yes the thread has gone off on a bit of a tangent but it's pretty relevant, the OP isn't stupid, he's been racing rotax so knows the score, I know if I wanted to enter the class I'd want to know what kit to buy before I entered the class even if it means knowing the bad bits like sp engines, that way I could make an informed decision on what to do......I'd hate to buy a load of kit, enter and then suddenly find I'm massively off the pace because I've got a couple of nackered generator engines and strapped them to an old chassis......at least having some bad news on a forum is better than going out, spending a couple of grand and then being disappointed
