Top suggestion, rolling starts are an outdated process from the old direct drive days, nothing has moved with the times and TAG. Typical - karting not moving with the times! Anyone whom leaves karting can moan as to why, we retired and if most were honest cost is the main reason, but parity of engines and associated cost of getting a 'decent one', cost of tyres - having to buy new each race to compete, chassis performance - competing against people whom buy new regularly, competing against teams all contributed to our retirement. But driving standards and the lottery it created did too, to say karting is non contact is a joke! We never seemed to get good starts but did well in the race if we got through the start, my lad refused to load which put him at a disadvantage, which is plain wrong.
