on the old style tyre then run them at 14 all round if it is warm, as it gets colder then up the pressures accordingly.
new style tyre run them at 8 all round and again up the pressure accordingly as it gets colder.
if you run ali wheels then you are likely to find that they will overheat within a few laps when it is hot and it will cause the kart to slide or breakaway, this can also induce rear end hop as well. mag wheels are your best bet as they dont overheat as easily, especially on the new style tyre, we only use ali rims when it is freezing cold.
as a rule of thumb, higher pressures will get the kart to 'come on' quicker but will also mean the kart will 'go off' quicker as well.
