No, I am not trying to stir. This came out in a discussion with Ron, who told me that the notice was going up on the website ASAP.
Unfortunately Ron was then taken to hospital and Julie understandably didn't get the website done just then.
The NKRA had no input into the discussion with the MSA, the first they knew about it was when the MSA came out with a decision.
The MSA have, I believe, been reasonable in their approach as far as the Grande Final was concerned, because there has been no report at other tracks including GYG of the problem. It therefore seems likely that the combination of another track and other drivers may prevent the problem from occurring. After all, there were no reports of accidents at GYG at the last clubbie, even though there were a number of visiting drivers including Scots getting in practice.
