Difficult to get a difinitive answer...
Our own experience is that once a kart has had a "good" knock, no matter how many times you put it back on the jig it eventually goes back to the knocked state again....
We had a big knock at Shenny 2 weekends ago....we got it straightened, felt perfectly good, like it did pre-knock....then this weekend we took a "light" knock and hey presto its gone back to the Shenny knock state :-(
We'll straighten it again but for sure it'll go back into knock state again :-(
The chassis are "springy" and it seems that when you have had a knock beyond its limits then it causes long term effect.
