magician if they were genuine attempts at overtaking then it wouldn't be such a bitter pill to swallow, but with how far some of these moves were coming from, and where the 'overtaking' driver ended up in relation to an apex, these weren't genuine attempts at overtaking. These were lunges designed to push the other driver off the track.
Which actually goes on to my second issue, being with the prevalence of cameras on karts nowadays, why can't footage be used by the clerks to come to a better-informed decision? Takes all of 30 seconds to move footage from a camera to a laptop, a minute or two to watch the footage, and it wouldn't even need to come from a kart involved. Could come from a following kart.
