As with anything, one suits some circuits better than the other. For instance, I have found the TAG to be mighty around Clay, all due to the nature of the circuit. But then if you look at tracks like Sheni where they had super 1, DD's seemed to have the edge overall. I think in general like Chris says, it does balance out. I have found the 2 engines I have (one being an early 65** CNC barrel motor, and the other being a 20 odd year old 1 series!) are no different from each other around a power circuit like Clay, and have been regularly 2-3 tenths off the front runners, which to be honest is partly down to running at 160kg, but mostly because the front boys are just better/faster drivers! TKM does offer the best parity out there IMO, just a shame things are drying up!
