For racing at least My daughter wasn't old enough for Pro Karts. There is another series which is based near us in the South West that uses Briggs and Stratton engines, FP4 karting but at present they don't have a junior class. For location alone this would have been ideal for us. If enough people showed an interest it might be possible though. For practising a GX200 on a suitable senior chassis could be one way to go. BY suitable chassis I mean one that will give enough room for the sprocket and chain as it will be up against the seat. There are a few senior chassis about that are made to take LH engines so it wouldn't be a problem then. I can't really comment about 2 strokes. I would imagine they are a lot less stressed if you fit a restrictor on them so with the small amount of use it might get should be OK for ages.
