I'd probably run a Blue. For a start as a larger driver the Blue's system of restrictors means that you are on a far more level playing field than any of the other classes.
Plus of course it is run at Hooton in both MSA and non MSA events.
It has been run as a class at GYG, I'm not sure what classes they are running now.
There is also a chance that they will run Blue at Whilton Mill this year, as Whilton is hosting the NKRA this year, and the NKRA have been assured that the rounds there will be honoured.
As a larger driver you would want the Lynx Maxi engine, which gives you the power to cope with the weight difference against, say, a 50kg driver.
Age isn't a barrier either. The Blues regularly host grids with over 60's racing, the current '0'plate champion is over 40, the current No 1 plate is over 40 and there are several more 'Master' class drivers holding prestigious numbers.
