Right..... now we have a statement about the words that you use.......
So.... let's test the ideas behind them.
The easiest one is to imagine a situation and ask you to respond to it:
You are racing at an imprtant meeting. You have set-up your kart beautifully and it's right on the EDGE of this (amusing) 'tipping point'. You would claim that you don't want any more 'grip' from your tyres: that does seem to be the import of what you say. I, now arrive at the track with a number of sets tyres that WILL last for the required period and are ENTIRELY 'legal' to use BUT are so substantially 'grippier' that they can produce 10% MORE cornering/braking/accelerating force than your existing tyres.
So... what do you want me to do? If you are consistent and you MEAN what you have said, you won't want ANY sets of those tyres and you also won't mind if I offer those to your strongest competitor.... will you?
Just confirm that's what you would do in that situation..... You would REFUSE the grippy tyres! Correct.....?
I bet you won't confirm that......
Either way, we can analyse you answer, later.
It might help if I pointed out that Tery Fullerton (et al) did NOT turn down such offers of increased grip tyres when that circumstance happened to them...... I didn't hear ANY of them say.... NAH..... 'those tyres have too much grip'.... I wonder why they didn't....
