haha i saw stoxkarts at NIR the other week....looks really fun!!!! ok no disrespect theyre basicaly prokarts with a mini f1 stockcar body on...but the racing was close and loooked really good fun.

seriously tho tomnumber78....you need to take everyones advice and start doing things with your dad. i can amost garuntee that NONE OF US knew what we were oing before we started karting....but its called learning....you wil find it far more rewarding doing it on your own with your dad than paying someone to do it for you. i knew absolutely nothing before i started karting last year, but you learn very quickly....i race in tkm, and its not rocket science...setup changes are minimal, i rebuild my own carbs and get the engines sent off to be rebuilt....yes its daunting to start off with but trust me its not that hard....hell if 90 percent of other people can do it im sure you can!!
