How many KF drivers in this country... and how many clubs are running KF championships ? Compare the answer to the Rotax classes.
OK... you might say that KF needs more time to get going. So what percentage of current Rotax drivers are considering a move to KF - 50% ? 20% ? 10% ? 1% ?
If KF is to be an elite class to be raced a european and world championship levels only, then that's fine. But that wasn't the purpose of the class at the time it was introduced. It was to be the replacement for 100cc racing - a more reliable, more affordable replacement designed to be as pervasive as its predecessor at all levels of karting. In other words it needed to take on an erode the Rotax dominance. From what I can see it hasn't come close to doing that.
The CIK would be best off conceding to Rotax and drawing its national, european and world champions from that class of racing.
