1) NJB (who DOES know about winning races) likes using Mags in certain conditions. I am not aware of ANYONE who thinks he is wrong on THAT one!

2) NJB originally claimed it was because the tyres were kept cooler by using mags but he no longer claims that to be based on ANY evidence. He also syas that he doesn't CARE about the evidence. Well.... thats FULLY up to him. You have to decide if there is ANY EVIDENCE that it's the temp. Personally, I know it's NOT the thermal properties becasue I do NOT believe in FAIRIES!

3) Paul-Rotax believed that it was FIRSTLY, the temp, THEN it was the Rotational Mass. When asked for his proof..... he has NONE WHATSOEVER for EITHER. Again, it's up to YOU to decide.... if you care. Personally, as I said before, I don't believe in fairies!

4) Would I use Mag Wheels IF they made me faster AND they were robust???? OF COURSE I WOULD..... and used to use them until my AWFUL driving showed that I lost MORE races by breaking them than I 'won' (tee hee!) by USING them!

My view? Use them if you LIKE them... Just don't believe people telling you the CAUSE is XYZ if all the evidence shows that it's NOT what they claim!
